Allison Farrell is an experienced litigator with a focus on oil, gas, and coal in the Appalachian basin. Having handled hundreds of cases for publicly traded exploration and production companies, Allison understands the risks and benefits of litigation on the timing and long term success of an operator's drilling program. Allison works closely with the firm's title attorneys to rectify matters related to lease acquisition, quiet title disputes, and disagreements over royalty payments. Clients view Allison as an extension of their land team and she regularly negotiates leases, purchases, and other agreements. In addition to her active practice, Allison serves as the Energy Litigation Practice Group assistant practice group leader and also leads a team of attorneys, paralegals, and abstractors that is focused on obtaining positive and practical results for the firm’s clients.
