Michael Moore dedicates his practice to labor and employment matters and has significant experience preparing cases for trial. Michael has represented companies in defense of claims involving state and federal employment laws. He works aggressively to tailor a strategy for each client's litigation needs. Michael frequently gives presentations to clients on “best practices” for their businesses and counsels them, prior to litigation, to resolve labor and employment disputes they encounter. Michael has successfully argued before the Supreme Court of Appeals of West Virginia and represented clients at trial.
Michael is active in the firm's traditional labor practice. He has participated in grievance arbitrations and assisted in negotiation of union contracts. Michael frequently provides guidance to employers when they are faced with unionization efforts and has experience in the defense of unfair labor practice charges filed with the National Labor Relations Board.
Aside from his practice, Michael remains active in the community, serving as the Chairperson for the Clarksburg Salvation Army. Michael serves on the Bridgeport Fire Civil Service board and volunteers through the Harrison County United Way and the Relay for Life. He is also a member of the Alpha Kappa Psi Business Fraternity and Golden Key International Honour Society.
